The KD1839 model is a welding inverter, designed based on efficient IGBT transistors. It is equipped with an LCD display that shows the current welding current set by the adjustable knob.

The IGBT transistor combines the advantages of two types of transistors, the ease of control of field-effect transistors and high breakdown voltage, as well as the switching speed of bipolar transistors.

BUILT-IN FUNCTIONS:

HOT START is widely known; the hot start allows temporarily increasing the welding current beyond the set value of the welding machine. HOT START operates when the arc is ignited and aims to prevent the electrode from sticking to the material. This is very helpful when igniting the electrode.

ANTI STICK disconnects/minimizes the welding voltage and current in the event of a short circuit between the electrode and the workpiece. ANTI STICK allows the welder to easily detach the electrode.

ARC FORCE stabilizes the arc regardless of its length. It adjusts the dynamics of the welding arc. Reducing the function value gives a soft arc and less penetration depth, while increasing the function value causes deeper penetration and the ability to weld with a short arc. At maximum ARC FORCE function value, one can "push the electrode into the molten metal bath and burn through the material." (In this model, the ARC FORCE function is automatically adjusted).

The welding machine is equipped with electronic fan cooling circuits and other components - the "Turbo fan" function, as well as a thermal sensor that protects the device from overheating.

The device welds with a current from 20 to 300A, allowing electrode welding from 1.5 mm to 5 mm. The weight of the unit is only 5.2 kg, making it very convenient. It also has a carrying strap for easy work at height.

Welding with a 1.5 mm electrode is already possible with a melting fuse of class 16A. Operating at a maximum current of 300A requires protection of at least 20A.
