Welding wire for aluminum of general purpose with a 5% silicon addition for welding various aluminum alloys containing no more than 2% alloying elements or 7% Si, such as 2014, 3003, 3004, 5052, 6060, 6061, 6063, 6101, etc.

Application: ER4043 is intended for welding aluminum alloys of the 6xxx series. It can also be used for welding alloys of the 3xxx series or 2xxx alloys.

The most commonly used filler ER4043 is intended for automotive parts, truck trailers, and bicycles.
