Welding helmet digital true color filter (YT-73938)

Welding helmet ASTRO DIGITAL with digitally controlled wide-angle three-element auto-darkening filter of true color type. It allows observation of the welding arc in real colors. It has additional functions such as gradient, tack mode, and automatic modes. It guarantees maintaining precise settings even after many years of use.

It has 9 levels of shading and sensitivity to light source intensity. Working in automatic mode makes the helmet independently and in real time adjust the shading level, sensitivity, and brightening time. The switching time from dark to light can be manually adjusted in the range of 0.05 to 2 seconds.

• protection against UV/IR radiation at DIN 16 level
• filter protected from sparks by a durable polycarbonate cover
• four arc sensors and precise electronics detect electric arc from TIG welding with intensity as low as 5 A
• powered by solar cell and two CR2450 batteries
• tack mode function makes the helmet transition from dark to intermediate state (DIN 5 shading) during spot welding, and if another spot weld does not start within 2 seconds, it switches to light state (DIN 3)
• gradient function allows smooth transition from dark to light state - the field of view brightens relatively slowly and smoothly
• significant reduction of eye fatigue, important for professional welders and amateurs
• the filter has a grinding mode, allowing the helmet to be used as a means of individual protection, e.g. from sparks during metal cutting or grinding
• TEST button allows checking the correct operation of the auto-darkening function at each shading level, which helps protect the eyes and health of the operator with regular filter performance checks
• helmet shell made of durable and non-flammable PA plastic
• four-point harness, sweatband, size and angle adjustment system allow adjusting the helmet position to individual requirements and ensure high work comfort
