The red antifreeze concentrate RAVENOL OTC Protect C12+ Concentrate -40C meets the G12+ standard and provides long-lasting protection for aluminum engines both in winter and summer.
RAVENOL OTC Protect C12+ Concentrate is an antifreeze concentrate based on 1.2-Ethandiol (monoethylene glycol) and corrosion inhibitors using organic technology OAT. It does not contain borates, nitrites, or silicates. It provides long-term (up to 5 years) anticorrosion protection for aluminum engines both in winter and summer. It is not harmful to the environment.
The antifreeze is dyed red-purple, which allows for quick detection of potential antifreeze leak locations using a defectoscope (blue lamp).
The RAVENOL OTC Concentrate antifreeze should not be used in its undiluted form, as the freezing point of pure ethylene glycol is only -15°C; however, by adding 20% water, the freezing point drops sharply to -65°C.
The best results are achieved by diluting the antifreeze concentrate with deionized water, such as RAVENOL Destilliertes Wasser entionisiert. In the absence of deionized water, dilution with regular purified water is also acceptable.
