PROPER USE OF AIR CONDITIONING:
An effective air conditioning system positively affects comfort and increases driving safety. It has been established that prolonged driving in an overheated car can lead to accidents. For effective operation, it is recommended to regularly refresh the air conditioning system along with replacing the cabin filter once a year or every 15,000 km. Unpleasant odors from the air conditioner are due to growing fungi that can cause allergies. The air conditioner should be used year-round; when the air conditioning is on, it dries the air well and protects windows from fogging. Using the air conditioner in winter ensures proper lubrication of the system components. In summer, to quickly cool the heated cabin of the car, first open the windows and ventilate the car, then turn on the air conditioning. If possible, park in the shade. After turning off the air conditioning, the blower fan should run for a while. It is recommended to use the air conditioner wisely, setting the temperature no lower than +21°C and the temperature difference no more than 7°C compared to the outside air temperature. This way, when exiting the car, we do not expose ourselves to too great a temperature shock and the risk of catching a cold. Using the air conditioner increases fuel consumption by approximately 0.5 liters per 100 km.
