MANNOL Glass Repair Kit (9804)

Repair kit for glass – a professional set for restoring windshields. Unlike other similar products, it does not require ultraviolet rays. The principle of operation of the kit involves removing air from cracks and gaps, filling them with a strong resin, which makes the treated area of glass even stronger than before. To achieve the best results, this procedure should only be carried out after you see the area of damage/crack. Before contamination of the cracked or broken area.

Functions:
- Reduces the risk of cracks appearing after a hole or sliding on the windshield and prevents their further spread/expansion;
- High-quality repair resin with ultra-low viscosity reliably fills even the smallest cracks;

Application:
1. Use a cleaning cloth to clean the damaged windshield from dust and dirt. For best results, it is recommended to degrease the surface of the glass around the repaired area (we recommend using brake cleaner 9692 MANNOL).
2. Use the special red tool to remove glass shards from the affected area.
3. Insert the adhesive disc/package so that the damaged area is in its center.
4. Place the black sealing ring on the edges of the hole in the adhesive disc. Black sealing rings can be used multiple times.
5. Stick the base in the shape of a red mushroom on top of the adhesive disc and add 2 - 6 drops of repair resin from the tube, depending on the extent of the damage - the larger and longer the crack, the more resin is needed. Fill all these gaps.
6. Insert the syringe into the red base of the tool, the spatula should be pressed all the way down. Then pull the piston of the syringe as hard as possible to create a vacuum. Wait 10 minutes. Remove the syringe. Pull the piston back and place the syringe on the base, then pull the piston again as hard as possible and wait another 10 minutes.
7. Remove the syringe, the red base of the tool, the black sealing ring, and the sticky disc. If necessary, clean the glass from the sticky disc with a scraper. Apply repair resin to the remaining damaged areas and cracks. Cover the damaged area with repair resin applied to the thermoplastic. Smooth the thermoplastic with a scraper and cleaning cloth so that it fits tightly against the glass and there are no air bubbles underneath. Remove excess resin from the edges of the thermoplastic with a cleaning cloth. Wait 15 minutes.
8. Remove the thermoplastic or scrape it off with a scraper. Also, carefully scrape off the dried repair resin from the glass.
