Foam gun ptfe (YT-6743)

Pistol designed for the application of polyurethane foams. High quality-thanks to the use of suitable, high-quality materials of stainless steel, aluminum and brass. Elements most vulnerable to dirt and damage due to the aggressive action of foams and corrosion, have been additionally protected by PTFE coating.

Purpose:

The gun facilitates such work as sealing, installing windows and doors, filling gaps in insulation, sealing and insulating partitions and insulating walls and roofs.

How to use

Purpose of use:

1. Start the work

- Vigorously shake the foam container, for about 15 seconds.

- Screw in the adjustment screw, located on the back of the gun, as far as it will go, so as to completely block the movement of the trigger lever.

- Remove the lid from the foam container, and then screw the container into the gun nut to a perceptible resistance.

- Then unscrew the adjustment screw, located on the back of the gun by turning counterclockwise until the threaded part of the adjustment screw appears - the threaded part of the adjustment screw should remain screwed into the body of the gun.

- Press the trigger lever and fill the gun with foam.

- The gun is ready for use.

- A stream of foam comes out when the trigger lever is pressed.

- Releasing the pressure of the trigger lever stops the flow of foam.

- The volume of the installation foam flow is adjusted by turning the adjusting screw.

2. Activities after completion of work

It is recommended not to unscrew the foam container from the gun. Care should be taken to ensure that there is always a container screwed to the gun, at least partially filled, this helps keep the foam inside the gun under pressure. This prevents the foam from drying inside the gun.

If the break in use of the gun is more than a month, clean the gun with a mounting foam cleaner. Do not allow the foam to dry inside the gun. Dried foam can only be removed mechanically. Leaving dried foam inside the gun, leads to irreversible obstruction of the gun.

3 Re-use of the gun

Vigorously shake the gun with the container attached, for about 15 seconds. Cut off the tip of the hardened foam with a sharp knife. Turn the adjustment screw counterclockwise and release enough foam so that the stream becomes uniform. After these steps, the gun is ready for use.

4. Replacement of the container

If the foam has stopped coming out of the container, replace it with a new one. To see if the container is completely unobstructed, point the nozzle toward the waste container and press the trigger lever until the gun nozzle is completely unobstructed. Install a new container immediately, without cleaning the gun, and proceed according to point 1.

5. Cleaning the gun

Screw the container from the gun. Put the spray tip on the cleaning agent container and clean the fresh foam residue on the gun. Remove the spray tip and screw the cleaning agent container into the gun. Proceed similarly to the foam container (point 1). Fill the gun with cleaning agent and let it sit for about 10 minutes. Press the trigger lever again and clean the inside of the gun with fresh cleaner. Unscrew the cleaning agent container. Using a cloth, remove the residue of the cleaning agent from the junction of the container and the gun and cover with a thin layer of Vaseline. Do not clean the gun with corrosive agents. With continuous use of the gun, clean the gun, as described above, every 2 - 3 months
