Description
The DEDRA MC0920 measuring tool set, consisting of a cross-line laser and laser rangefinder, is a complete set suitable for a wide range of precision work.
The cross-line laser is a tool that can be used for renovation work in the building industry and also for decorating walls and hanging cupboards. The laser can be used to mark cross lines automatically. The laser has a range of 30 m. The laser has a 4° self-levelling system, which allows us to work without having to calibrate the laser manually. The robust housing protects the laser from accidental damage. The use of an OSRAM-branded diode ensures excellent beam visibility even in interrupting sunlight- the green colour of the laser beam.
The laser rangefinder is the ideal tool for DIY enthusiasts and renovation teams.
Owing to the laser beam, you can quickly and precisely measure distances to surfaces of interest like a drilled hole, a window or the distance between walls. Thanks to the integrated functions for the calculation of volumes, areas, etc., work can be carried out more quickly and without unnecessary mistakes. The use of trigonometric functions makes it possible to calculate the height of a column, for example. This is a useful and accurate method of measurement if the element to be measured does not have a point that we can measure, e.g. the ceiling or an protruding flanges. The measurement involves measuring the distance from the base of the object and then from the top of the object. The device can then calculate the length of the object from these data.
The measuring range is 5 mm to 40 m with a sensational precision of ±3 mm/10 m, which gives a very high accuracy in comparison to standard measuring methods, and the measurement time is incomparably shorter. In cases of interrupting sunlight, it is advisable to use the supplied reflective plate, which facilitates measurements under such conditions and also enables measurements to be made on mirrors, glass, highly absorbent surfaces and on other surfaces on which direct measurement with the laser beam would not be possible.
The device is powered by two small batteries (2 x AAA), which can power the device for up to 8000 measurements.
Note: Laser beam detectors work with all levelers operating in pulse mode, so be sure to start pulse mode on the leveler before working with the laser leveler.
