Humidity and temperature meter (81716)

A humidity and temperature meter (hygrometer), is a device for recording the level of relative humidity and ambient temperature. The advanced sensor takes a minimum of 65 measurements per second. The microprocessor receives the signals from the measurements, converts them into an average value and displays them on the screen with updates every half second. The portable hygrometer is widely used in everyday work. It is used to control parameters in agricultural production, animal husbandry, ventilation systems, terraria, etc.

The sensor controls both relative humidity and temperature. Based on these readings, the microprocessor is able to calculate the dew point and the so-called wet thermometer temperature. Simple operation, large digits on the display, a range of functions to make work easier and a contoured casing that fits perfectly in the hand make working with this meter easy and pleasant.

• Dew point: when the °C DP function is selected, the meter calculates the value of the dew point, i.e. the temperature at which condensation of the gas can start, on the basis of the measurements.
• Wet thermometer temperature: when the °C WB function is selected, the meter calculates the value for this display on an ongoing basis based on the measurements. Working in wet thermometer temperatures above 35°C is hazardous to health, can lead to overheating and, ultimately, death.
• Max/Min button: keeps the highest/lowest value of the current measurement on the screen
• Data hold button: keeps the current measurement value on the screen
• Automatic data recording: the device enables automatic recording of 1000 measurements at an interval of 10 seconds
• The device automatically switches off after 15 minutes of inactivity. The setting can be deactivated when the device is switched on.
