Set of 4 straight routers and 4 conical routers with four teeth to choose from, diameter sizes include: 6 mm/10 mm/13 mm/16 mm.
A router of one type allows the carpenter to cut a hole in the board of predictable size to a certain depth (for countersinking fasteners). The corresponding tool cuts a plug from a piece of scraping board to fill the first hole. The wooden plug is glued in with carpenter's glue and then, after drying, sanded flush with the surface. The result blends with the rest of the surface.
Hidden screw heads: when making furniture, you often need to use screws in visible areas. To hide them, you countersink them, and then, using one of the plugs you made with these tokens, you cover the countersunk hole.
Use standard routers to eliminate wood defects. Carbon steel is durable, precisely manufactured, has a smooth surface, suitable for the bench, speed should not be too high, otherwise it will smoke and char. Ideal for processing holes in wood, processing plugs from round wood. Can be used with a bench drill, hand drill, and other professional equipment; we recommend a bench drill (because a hand drill will wobble).
