The universal hole saw is an indispensable tool in the DIY workshop. The special design of the cutting edge increases the strength of the hole saw and improves hole guidance. With the use of HEX 10 mm 1 /2" chucks 08X001 (recommended for holes: 08X019-08X030) and 5/8" chucks 08X002 (recommended for holes: 08X032-08X152), it is possible to use the hole saws on drills or drill-drivers.Using the SDS+ chuck 08X 003 (recom mendedfor holes: 08X 032 - 08X152), it is possible to use the DEDRA 08 X widespread holesaw with a hammer drill in non-impact drilling mode. In order to improve the cutting effect and increase strength, the holes have several fork inserts, whicheffectively machine the material. Using the appropriate pilot drill bit, the DEDRA 08 X universal pilot bits can be used for work in wood, metal, furniture panels, PVC, mineral materials such as ceramic tiles, cellular concrete and silicate.In order to increase the strength of thebore holes, the core is made from high-grade #45 HCS steel with a thickness of 1.5 mm and the teeth are made from tungsten carbide with 6% cobalt (tungsten steel YG 6X). This improves the quality and durability of the cuttings and increases the efficiency of the drilling.
