HSS TiAlN Step Drill with a drilling diameter from 4 to 20 mm. Designed for drilling holes in non-ferrous metals, steel sheets, and plastics.
The drill is made of high-speed steel HSS with enhanced cutting ability and wear resistance. It is coated with TiAlN (titanium and aluminum nitride).
Drills coated with TiAlN are specifically designed for machining hard-to-machine materials and where the drill will be subjected to high thermal loads due to the inability to use cutting fluids or limited supply of cutting fluids. This coating significantly increases the wear resistance of the drills and allows for increased cutting speeds.
The drill is packaged in a plastic container with a hole for hanging on a hook.
