The DEDRA 07A003 threading tool is a popular cutting tool, which is used to create external threads on various types of shafts, rods, pins or bolts.

They are used in a variety of industries such as machine manufacturing, automotive or construction - anywhere where the creation of external threads of appropriate dimensions and precision is required.

The principle of operation of a threading machine is quite simple - during threading it is gradually screwed onto a given material, such as a rod, which allows to cut the material and form the corresponding thread cuts. Like internal threading dies, the dies have different sizes and profiles, corresponding to standard threads.

The 07A003 threading dies are designed for external threading on parts with a diameter of 6 millimeters. The thread pitch for this dies is 1 mm, which means that the created thread cuts are 1 mm apart along the axis of the workpiece.
