Rubber mallet (13M253)

The DEDRA 13M253 rubber tin hammer is a useful tool not only for tinsmithing but for all work with thinner metal sheets where a smooth surface is required. The low weight of the sheet metal hammer, 225 g, and the double-edged rubber shank allow precise and even sheet metal shaping without risk of surface damage. The hammer is also suitable for general installation work, e.g. in soft and delicate wood or for hammering furniture panels onto dowels, which would leave unattractive surface indentations if used with a locksmith's hammer. The two-density rubber (white or black) allows the use of a given hardness of the hammer as required. The tinsmith's hammer has a fibreglass handle made of thermoplastic rubber (TPR), which provides both increased flexibility, high durability and absorption of excessive vibrations during use. The rubber-coated, profiled handle lies well in the hand. Both solutions result in increased comfort, even during prolonged use.
