How to restore headlights step by step?

1. Sanding
Wet the sandpaper and attach it to the polishing disc. Sand the surface of the headlight, starting with the coarsest grit (P800), gradually moving to finer grits (P1200 -> P2000). This is crucial for completely removing yellowing, fading, and corrosion.

Note: Use sandpaper in order from coarsest to finest. Skipping this step may lead to restoration failure.

2. Polishing
Attach the polishing sponge to the polishing disc and apply the polishing paste. Polish the reflector until it returns to its original shine and clarity.

Note: For best results, use an electric polishing machine. If polishing by hand, make at least 200 clockwise circular motions.

3. Protection
Before applying the protective liquid, wash the headlight and ensure it is dry. Work in the shade, away from direct sunlight. Apply 5-10 drops of the protective liquid to the cloth and evenly distribute it over the headlight, alternating horizontal and vertical movements. Leave for 3-5 minutes, then remove excess liquid. Wait 24 hours for it to fully cure, or use a hairdryer for 1-2 minutes.
