Black emery - used for pre-treatment/preparing the material, hard and soft metal, also suitable for wood.
Brown Tripoli (light brown) - used for removing scratches on soft and hard metals. Can achieve a glossy surface.
White diamond - used for removing deep scratches on soft metals.
General Green - used for processing stainless steel to a glossy (mirror) shine. Also suitable for other hard metals.
Deep brown - used on hard metals where very deep damage needs to be removed.
Universal blue - used for all materials, can also be used for polishing plastics.
Red rouge - used for soft metals such as gold/silver, for polishing to a glossy shine, does not scratch the finest and softest metals. Polishes gold, silver, brass, copper, and nickel to a mirror shine.
