Black emery - used for pre-treatment/preparing materials, aluminum, stainless steel, wood.
Brown Tripoli (light brown) - used for removing scratches on aluminum and stainless steel. Can achieve a high gloss.
White diamond - used for removing deep scratches on soft metals.
Green - used to give stainless steel a glossy (mirror) finish. Also suitable for other hard metals.
Deep brown - used when heating is necessary for very deep damage.
Universal blue - used for all materials, can be used for polishing plastics.
Red rouge - used for polishing soft metals such as gold/silver to an ultra-glossy shine, does not scratch the finest and softest metals. Polishes gold, silver, brass, copper, and nickel to a mirror finish.
