Polystyrene cutting machine 134W, max. cutting length 1040 mm (DED7518)

The DEDRA DED7518 polystyrene cutting device is designed for cutting styrofoam and its derivatives EPS.

The cutting is performed using a heated chrome-nickel wire, which allows for efficient and precise cutting without creating waste, such as polystyrene beads that are often encountered in traditional cutting methods. The chrome-nickel wire has excellent heat resistance and corrosion resistance, effectively conducts heat, and is less susceptible to mechanical damage. Therefore, the device not only ensures high cutting quality but also has a long service life, reducing operating costs.

The ability to lock the wire at any height allows for height adjustment during cutting, enabling so-called "shadow" cutting of sheets. This technique involves cutting parallel to the working surface, allowing for material of varying thickness to be obtained from a single sheet.

The stable construction made of stainless steel and aluminum reduces vibrations during cutting, ensuring greater precision and accuracy in operation. Additionally, the working surface of the device is equipped with a metric scale, allowing for precise measurements and obtaining accurate dimensions.

The device comes with two additional cutters.
