The dual-clutch transmission (DCT), also known as direct-shift gearbox (DSG), consists of two independent transmission blocks, each with its own clutch. The torque from the engine is transmitted through the clutches to one or the other shaft of the transmission. For automatic gear shifting without interrupting the power flow from the engine to the dual-clutch transmission, ADDINOL ATF DCT transmission oil is required.
Not recommended for use in dual dry clutch transmissions in the following models:
