Description
The intake manifold cleaner is a highly effective agent for cleaning the intake system of gasoline engines, including the intake valves and in the most hard-to-reach places, from all typical contaminants without disassembling the system. In most cases, one application is sufficient to make the intake system flawless.
As the idle air control valve (IAC) operates, deposits gradually accumulate on it, which over time affect the circulation of air and gases. This reduces the engine's power and acceleration, disrupts the smoothness of idle operation, and significantly increases fuel consumption. Signs of clogging in the idle air control valve may include:
- Difficult starting;
- Intermittent idle mode, indicated by fluctuating tachometer readings;
- Slow deceleration when pressing the clutch pedal while driving;
- Black smoke from the exhaust pipe.
Functions:
- Quickly, effectively, and thoroughly removes dirt, soot, carbon deposits, resinous and greasy residues, and other hard-to-remove and long-standing contaminants;
- Additionally protects the elements of the intake system from corrosion and oxidation, prevents the formation of new contaminants and deposits on them, ensures the functionality and mobility of moving parts, extends the service life of the intake system, and reduces repair costs;
- Facilitates cold starting, restores the uniformity of idle RPM, and reduces fuel consumption;
- Contains acetone, which is aggressive to painted surfaces and plastics;
- Safe for catalytic converters, oxygen sensors, and turbochargers.
Application: Shake the can well before use. The product should be sprayed outside the air flow meter (the product should not come into contact with it) for at least 30 seconds (depending on the degree of contamination) while the engine is idling (at least 2000 RPM).
If there is particularly stubborn residue on the throttle body, inside the intake manifold, or on the intake valves, the cleaning procedure can be repeated. After application, let the engine run for about 20 seconds at 2000 RPM to burn off any residues in the intake system.
