DEGS040 Silicone Oil is designed for lubricating bearings, plastic gears, locks, padlocks, hinges, and drawer slides. It is also suitable for the maintenance and restoration of rubber, leather, and synthetic leather surfaces. The silicone oil can be applied to plastics without reacting with them, as well as metal parts.
Thanks to its properties, silicone oil is ideal for lubricating and protecting brake cables and bicycle derailleur cables inside their housings. It is also effective for lubricating derailleurs and bicycle chains, as well as sewing machines and typewriters. Its water-repellent properties help protect against corrosion and prevent electrical installations in vehicles from moisture, improving electrical conductivity. Additionally, it has antistatic properties and operates in a temperature range from -50°C to +320°C.
